Car Keys at Sacramento Driving School
Our highly-trained instructors teach you the right way to drive and what to practice, so that you can pass your behind the wheel test and be a safe driver after you get your license. And when we say highly-trained we mean it. Our training exceeds the State DMV standards. All Bond Instructors are trained and must pass rigorous tests in Collision Avoidance, Driver Improvement Management and First Aid. And when instructors from another school join Bond they're re-trained to bring them up to our standards.
Our cars help make learning to drive easy too. The instruments are clear and understandable, and are equipped with a dual controlled brake. They're all Red/Maroon in color so they can be seen easily by other drivers on the road. And since they're Toyota Prius hybrids, you're keeping the environment cleaner while you're learning!
Our online booking system can make busy lives a little easier. Not only can you sign up online, but you can make appointments for lessons as well. And when you make those appointments, the system sends out a confirmation email with a date and time and even a reminder email the day before your appointment. Also, since we instruct 7 days a week and have morning, afternoon and night lessons available, we can fit around your busy schedule.

The Cantor’s Driving School Story
Allan Cantor opened the first Cantor’s Driving School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1976. This father of four was a History Teacher and Disciplinarian at Overbrook High School in West Philadelphia. He began teaching students how to drive part-time and on the weekends. Soon, he had taught nearly every teen in the area how to drive.
Allan was the best driving instructor around. He was known for his jovial personality and relatability with his students. A stop off to grab a famous Philadelphia cheesesteak during a lesson was not out of the question – and something his students loved about him. Of course it was the 1970s and times were different then, but Cantor’s Driving School has always been about Family, Community, and Safety.
As years went by, Cantor’s Driving School grew into the neighboring Philadelphia suburbs. And as his children grew, his youngest son Frank joined the family business. Learning the ins-and-outs of being a great driving instructor from his father, Frank was able to expand Cantor’s Driving School into 4 states – Pennsylvania, Florida, Nevada, and Arizona.
Today, Frank Cantor owns and operates Cantor’s Driving School with his wife, Cheri, continuing the tradition of a family-owned and operated business. They are committed to teaching the pillars of safe driving to their students – Respect for the Road, Respect for Other Drivers, and Awareness of Outside Distractions.
Drive Carmel
Drive Carmel driving school was founded in 1999 and provides drivers education (classroom), student drivers training (behind-the-wheel), adult instruction, senior evaluations, stick shift training, and corporate driving assessments and training. We are owned and operated by retired members of the California Highway Patrol and as such, we know firsthand the devastation that can happen when young drivers don’t take their driving privilege seriously. We are passionate about keeping drivers safe during their teens and in the years beyond.
